Schedule:Full Time
Shift: Monday to Wednesday 8:00am to 5:00pm, Thursday 9:00am to 6:45pm, and Friday 8:00am to 1:15pm. Rotating shift every other 6 Fridays to work from 12:00pm to 5:00pm

The role you’ll contribute:
The Medical Receptionist is responsible for greeting patients, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, reviewing new patient registration, entering patient information into the practice’s designated system, requesting, and collecting co-pays/outstanding balances at the time of check-in/check-out. This individual is responsible for taking accurate messages and routing correspondence efficiently. Serves as a liaison between patients and medical support staff.

Welcomes patients, accurately updates, and verifies patient demographics
Maintains practice operational flow by communicating patients’ status to appropriate team members
Requests co-pay and outstanding balances on patient account at time of check-in
Accurately documents appropriate information within the designated office system to maintain accurate records
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Minimum qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to communicate in English
Ability to operate a computer, copier, fax, and scanner
Preferred qualifications:
Diagnosis coding and medical billing experience
