AdventHealth Palm Coast Parkway is our newest addition to the AdventHealth family Opening in May 2023. Our new facility is expected to provide up to 700 new jobs in our Pam Coast community. Palm Coast Parkway will be a 100 private bed facility made up of 40 critical care patient rooms and 60 general medical or surgical rooms. Our new hospital services will include Emergency Care, Full-Service Imaging, Pharmacy, 5 operating suites, Endoscopy Suites, Outpatient Lab & Imaging, Hearth Catheterization Labs, and Chapel.
Our new campus will also include a 2-story medical office building providing services in Outpatient Orthopedic Rehab, Cardiology, Gastrointestinal, Surgical, Urology, GYN, and Pulmonary
The role you’ll contribute:
This position will have responsibility for receiving incoming supplies and equipment, putting away supplies in the storeroom, scanning receiving documents, delivering supplies to departments, handling returns to supplier, tagging equipment, and completing all associated computer software tasks to ensure accurate record keeping. The Supply Chain Receiving Clerk ensures data in PeopleSoft is accurate and that system is properly used at their facility. Receiving Clerks serve as materials gatekeepers for their hospital, ensuring the facility only pays for items that are received.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
- Inspects and accepts deliveries, ensures product delivered matches packing slips, and identifies location to which the packages/supplies/equipment are to be delivered.
- Accurately completes receiving process in computer and scans all packing slips into system per established timelines.
- Ensures safety of products by giving special attention to refrigerated supplies and those with special handling.
- Meets customer needs by receiving items efficiently and accurately. Ensures overnight packages are processed and delivered quickly.
- Maintains assigned area in clean, safe and organized manner.
- Affixes property record (asset) tags to Capital Equipment upon receipt, communicates all needed information to purchasing around the asset (i.e. item description, PO #, asset tag number, serial number, etc.)
- Resolves invoice match exceptions due to receipt discrepancies related to purchase orders.
- Prepares items for return and ensures pick up of goods once an RTV or RGA has been issued. Resolves delivery errors with supplier when items are received in error (ie, mispicks, wrong UOM, wrong destination)
- Delivers supplies, equipment, packages to customers taking care to obtain location delivery information.
- Performs other related duties as requested by authorized personnel
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- HS Diploma or GED or 2 year work experience
- 6 months in supply chain Preferred.
